Marika Hackman played a beautiful and simplistic set for her gig at The Portland Arms ahead of the release of her first full album, We Slept at Last.
 
With her leading single, Drown, gaining lots of coverage, Marika looks set to hit the 2015 music scene running. 
 
Emma Clement caught up with her before the show to talk teenage cover bands, album art decisions and unusual instruments.
