Prides are an up and coming synth pop trio from Glasgow and have been making waves since they dropped their debut single 'Out of the Blue' last year, but have recently enjoyed a rise in popularity following their performance of stand out track 'Messiah' at the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony.
Here's a video of that taken by someone who was at the ceremony, complete with many shots of their dancing tent brigade!
Our throwback, or in this case flashabck, posts aren't complete without an interview so here is New Music Friday's Matt Kent and his interview with the band ahead of their headline show at Clare Ents. Keep listening after the interview to hear the wonderful Messiah in all it's glory!

You can catch Prides on tour this October, the tickets went on sale this morning, head over to their website for more info on where to buy tickets and all dates.
