Varsity Match Launch Party! Tuesday, 11 November 2014

Cam FM will be hosting the Varsity Rugby Match Launch Party this Sunday, the 15th November, at Lola Lo's! 

Get your name on the Guestlist for £3 entry by posting on the Facebook Event Page. On the night there'll be 5 shots for £5, plus mixers like Jaegerbombs for £1.50.* 

 

The Varsity Match itself will be held at Twickenham stadium on the 11th December with kick off at 14:30. Tickets cost £15 and can be purchased HERE. 

 

This will be the 133rd Varsity Rugby match between Oxford and Cambridge, and on the centenary of WW1, will be commemorating the Fallen.  

 

Twickenham, where the match will be held, is the largest stadium in the world dedicated to solely Rugby Union, having been built in 1909 and seating 82,000 people. In the match's history, Cambridge has won 61 times, beating Oxford's 57. There have been 15 draws.
