Positions available on the Cam FM Committee

Have you ever wanted to get involved in the running of Cam FM? 

It's great fun - full of fun people and great opportunities - and now there are two positions available on the core committee. 

Alongside the roles below, committee members are required to attend an hour-long committee meeting and lead an hour of training every week.

Applications are open to any member of Cambridge or Anglia Ruskin Universities. If you're interested in applying, then please email Emma for any more information or an application form.


 

Head of News & Current Affairs

Leads the News Team to gather news reports and interviews, create the hourly bulletin each day and keep website up to date. Executive producer of weekly News Show. Ensures consistently excellent standards of journalistic ethics are applied, and Cam FM’s obligations to Ofcom are upheld. Ultimately responsible for Cam FM’s news output.

Head of Communication, Community Liaison, and Publicity

Heads Comms Team, building relationships with the wider community and creating partnerships with other groups and societies. Generates awareness of the station’s activities amongst the target audience. Writes press releases, generates good PR and works on building relationships with Press in Cambridge.
