Stunning Awards Successes for Cam FM Friday, 21 November 2025

The awards season for student radio has come around again - and Cam FM's efforts have been recognised in the form of a slew of outstanding achievements!

Station members' unprecedented engagement with the Student Radio Awards in recent years has not gone unnoticed. We received a whopping 20 entries this year, 8 of which ended up being nominated for awards!

A clear highlight of awards night was our Gold in the Best Interview category, for former Station Manager and Deputy Station Manager Daisy Cox and Emma Lovick's insightful and deeply personal interview with Sandi Toksvig during this year's LGBTQ+ History Month broadcast. We are also honoured to have been awarded Silver for Best Station, our best result in this category in 18 years!

Meanwhile, in the International Student Broadcasting Championship, Daisy Cox scored further wins for the station, bagging a win in the Best Specialty Show category and a runner-up award for Best On-Air Talent. We are unbelievably proud of Daisy for helping us to gain this level of exposure on a global stage.
